The popularity of postsecret and brutalhonesty inspired this. What about the people who don't have the time or creativity to make witty postcards? What about the people with whole stories that need to get out? People who have always wanted to give a certain someone that lecture that everyone knows they need, and no one can grow the balls to give. You never know, others in other places could be going through the same thing. This is your chance to get it off your chest and stay completely out of blame. This is not a community, because that would defeat the point. BrutalHonesty only works to a point because soon everyone you know joins up, and you lose the ability to be as free as you were. Fear not. A little birdy is here...

Email me your secrets. Your stories. The truths that have been covered up and shoveled away. I will post them without name, without email, without any identifiers at all. However, if in your story you call people out by name, list specific places, or events, those will Stay In. After all, this is your confession. Say what you feel you need to say. I'll do the rest. I'll even post a link to the entry in a specific journal or community if you'd like, so that the intended people can see it without you being the bearer of news. Isn't that handy?

I may edit your posts a bit for punctuation and grammer if it's just too bad to stand. Please write like an adult, and avoid USING ALL CAPS FOR THE WHOLE POST or AlTeRnAtInG letters. It takes away from the secret. Please keep your posts to an R rating. On occasion, if I feel the secret needs to be posted and it's more explicit, I'll place it behind an lj-cut. Also, please avoid gossip. This isn't a place for suspected behaviour, unless it involves your reaction to what you heard. Don't claim something as true if you aren't 100% sure.

So get to work. This is your chance. All it takes is one email to make yourself feel a whole lot better.
